Your Swap Objective:
Get to know your fellow book-loving partner and send them a fantastic bookish package.
Your package must include:
- A book from your partner's wishlist.
- A book you have read and loved.
- A book you haven't read, but think looks interesting. (Can also be on their wishlist.)
- *Optional* Other book-related goodies.
Important Dates to Remember:
- Sign-ups Open: Monday, August 17th.
- Sign-ups Close: Monday, August 24th.
- Partners Assigned by: Wednesday, August 26th.
- Packages Ship: on or by Saturday, September 5th.
- Show-Off Linky Opens: Wednesday, September 9th.
Books 'n' Bloggers Rules:
- After being accepted, you must post on your blog saying you're participating. Post must include the button/link back to the sign-ups and must be posted within 3 days of signing up.
- Packages must include three books as per the Swap Objectives above.
- Send books that fit your partner's preferences as best you can.
- No price limits-but make sure it's a package you yourself would love to receive.
- Used books are OK as long as they are in good condition.
- E-books are OK if your partner prefers them.
- You must respond to host's and partner's emails in a timely fashion.
- Packages MUST be mailed on or before Saturday, September 5th. (if you have any problem please contact hosts and partner immediately.)
- All packages REQUIRE tracking when shipped. This tracking number must be emailed to your partner and to Chaotic Goddess Swaps when your package is sent out.
- Flaking wont be tolerated. If you sign up for the swap you are making a commitment to participate and follow through. Flakers will automatically be added to our Blacklist.
- After receiving your package, you must post about it on your blog and link up with the show-off linky when it is open. This is non-negotiable.
By signing up for this swap you are agreeing to follow the above rules. Please do not sign-up if you cannot follow through with these obligations.
We don't want anyone to be left out and not receive a package, especially after sending one. If for any reason you become unable to participate YOU MUST CONTACT US here at Chaotic Goddess Swaps immediately so we can work out another arrangement. Failure to send a package, contact us, or to link up a reveal post, will result in blacklisting for all future swaps.

ReplyDeletesuper excited for this!! I remember wishing I'd have known about it last time, when Elena Reads Books (on Youtube) showed off her haul and she posted a video recently letting us all know it's on again, so yay!!

DeleteBook depository never gives me an option to choose tracking for my parcel, is that an issue or is simply forwarding the dispatch notice to Cgswaps and my swap partner enough?
ReplyDeleteGood question! Just send us the Book Depository order #, in that case (as you say, forwarding). We use the tracking number to help facilitate in rare instances where USPS delivers to the wrong address, or erroneously returns a package, etc.- we're not sure how Book Depository handles that potential issue, but at least the order number gives us somewhere to start, if it needs to be dug into.
