Ah wow, we can't believe we're already eight days into these giveaways? Where does the time go! Don't worry, there are still great prizes coming and there have been so many great ones! Today, we're going to introduce you to Kaylee, who is a fantastic blogger that swaps with us often and blogs at Chair in the Shade. She also runs an adorable Etsy shop called Lavender Kay.
What is your favorite way to celebrate the holidays?
I love the warm fuzziness of the holidays. I work every third Christmas, so if it's a Christmas I'm off, I love spending it with family. We eat, and snap pictures, and let my parents' dog help open presents. (He goes absolutely crazy when there is wrapping paper involved.)
Do you prefer a white Christmas or are you more of a Christmas on the beach person?
I prefer a white Christmas, but only for Christmas! Snow could melt December 26th and I'd be a happy camper. It's just a Wisconsin thing. Winter is way too long here.
If you could receive any gift this year, what would it be?
I'm not trying to be cliche, but there really isn't anything I want for Christmas. I've been working on downsizing my material possessions, so I really don't need or want anything.
Do you have any fun holiday traditions you practice?
Fun holiday traditions? Well, I always have to drive through the park in our town at least a couple times. They go all out for Christmas, with lights and Christmas displays. So it's tradition. It's so peaceful to drive through slowly, listening to holiday music on the radio.
What is your favorite holiday food?
It has to be cookies. I love holiday baking. It's the perfect time for all those putzy cookies you never take the time to make the rest of the year. Things that are filled, dipped, rolled, cut out, etc.
Mmmm... Now we want some cookies to munch on.
Kaylee is giving one lucky winner a pretty handmade tote bag!
Giveaway ends on 11/25/14 at 12AM and is open to USA only.
