12 Days of Giveaways ~ Day 1: Printcess Eye Shadows

Welcome to the 12 Days of Giveaways here on Chaotic Goddess Swaps!  For day one, we have a giveaway from our lovely host Beth who has a great shop called Printcess.  Printcess carries unique handmade and cruelty free mineral eye shadows that are inspired by literature!  How can you go wrong with that?  There are so many gorgeous colors available-all book themed! Meet Beth:

What's your favorite way to celebrate the holidays?

Christmas breakfast with my family.  We each help out in making fresh eggs benedict and mimosas, and after that we dive into our stockings.  It's been a constant tradition since childhood (maybe the ONLY one that hasn't changed with adulthood and distance), and it's an indulgence in rich food, laughs, and silliness.

Do you prefer a white Christmas or are you more of a Christmas on the beach person?

Bring on the snow!  I grew up in San Diego, where snow was mythical, and I've always longed for those holiday card scenes with snowy meadows and peaceful cottages.  I've never had a white Christmas (in Seattle, we're lucky to get any snow at all, and then usually only in January), but I'm always hoping for one.

If you could receive any gift this year, what would it be?

Either peace on earth and goodwill toward man, or more mica and oxides for my makeup mad scientist passion.  Tough choice.

Do you have any fun holiday traditions you practice?

I light a candle in the window on Christmas Eve, and let it burn all night, in honor of those who are lost.  It serves as a reminder for me to be loving and patient with everyone, regardless of how harried I might be, because we've all been lost in the forest of our own lives at some point.

What's your favorite holiday food?

I'm not sure what holiday food is-aside from eggs benedict and mimosas, we have different dishes on the holiday every year!  It's always made with love, though, and every one of us contributes a dish to the main meal.
